"Rising of the Sun" is a retro power pop alt rock jam that's a little bit late-80s (The Cure/INXS) and a little bit mid-90s (Green Day/Eels/U2). The song's lyrics--about finding a lover who can match your level of crazy--are delivered by front-man Adam Sweeney with a wink and a smirk and more than a little swagger.

"Rising of the Sun" is the second single from Gwythaints' forthcoming debut LP "There Is No In Between" (to be released in 2023.) The track was was produced by Patrick Tetreault (The Features / Laura Gibson), mixed by grammy award-winner Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves / Hanson) and mastered by grammy award nominee Pete Lyman (Brandi Carlile / Weezer.)
